I'm so excited you will be back on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. I have to warn you though-my sister is coming from IL next week, and I'm going to bring her to the group too. She doesn't have any kids, so I hope Lauren and the mass of other babies doesn't scare her off!

I totally know about the nap time thing. We are usually late every week, b/c Lauren has to get at least 1 hour on her morning nap, or she is just aweful. Honestly though, the girls in the group (the regulars) are super sweet, and we are all just winging this whole Motherhood thing together. Are you in any other playgroups?

It was wonderful seeing you there. They don't normally have speakers, so it was a little unusual yesterday. By the way, Johnathan is just as cute in person!

what is that at mercy??? i had lance there and remember going to the lamas classes, i didn't know they have play group, that's cool,
i used to get together with "mommy and me", at riverwalk park every tuesday, but the meeting were in the morning and i had to work, but lance loved it, so now i found this other group very close to my house and i actually have to meet whith them today, so i let you now later how it went.

He just started pulling himself up. Yikes! I can't even imagine what it's going to be like when he starts walking/running. Ok, I'm going to go to the group at Mercy this Wednesday. I've been meaning to try it, but I feel kinda 'shy'. Lol! Is it at 9:30? And we should get together for a play date too! I would love that! So would Johnathan!!

At 5:01pm on May 12, 2008, Jackie said…: Awe! Lauren has her first boyfriend! I'm so glad you asked about play groups. I am actually from Illinois, so I don't know many other people/Moms here. I really enjoy the group at Mercy Southwest. The Moms are all pretty laid back, and they throw a bunch of toys on the ground and our little ones all play together. It has been wonderful for Lauren and I both. You should definitely come on Wednesday. Once they get to be a year, they "graduate" to a toddler group, but Lauren and I will probably start going to it in a few month anyway, since she is sooooo active. I believe I have the ADHD kid of the group. She just turned 8 months and is crawling and pulling up all over. I've discovered mobility is overrated! Seriously though, I love this age. She is amazing. If you aren't interested in the Mercy Southwest group, we should get together for a play date anyway!

How old is your little guy? Lauren is blowing him a kiss right now. Ok, she's not, but she would if she could see how darn cute he is!
